Judy Su Invited to US-Africa Frontiers of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Symposium
Congratulations to Prof. Judy Su on her invitation to participate in the 2nd National Academies US-Africa Frontiers of Science, Engineering, and Medicine Symposium in Rabat, Morocco, Jan. 16-18, 2024. Participation in the symposium is dictated by strict eligibility guidelines as well as a personal invitation to participate in the opportunity. The symposium is meant to build collaboration in the frontiers of research between a wide variety of fields ranging from human-technology interaction, sensing technologies, green technologies for climate adaptation, vaccine manufacturing, and One Health.
Prof. Su looks forward to participating, particularly in the focused sessions. She hopes to present more on her work surrounding FLOWER (Frequency Locked Optical Whispering Evanescent Resonator) and how it can be applied to disease and environmental concerns in Africa such as ebola, malaria, and drinking water quality. Congratulations, Prof. Su, we hope the symposium is a great opportunity to build on your already strong foundation of work.
