Industrial Affiliates partners strengthen their ties to one of the world’s leading institutes for optical sciences research and education, gain exposure to a broad spectrum of optics applications and interact with a pool of highly talented students, who are well-prepared for the optics and photonics industry.
Bi-Annual Affiliates Showcase
Each October and February, affiliate members come to campus for a three-day workshop. Day one includes an optical sciences poster session and a corporate showcase where affiliates meet with students from the Wyant College of Optical Sciences, as well as invited students from the College of Engineering and the departments of physics and applied math, among others. Day two comprises a full day of optical sciences student and faculty research presentations, tours of optical sciences labs, and networking with faculty and students. Many IA partners extend their visit by scheduling interviews with students ready to enter the workforce or take on an internship. Taking an active role as an IA partner is an incredibly strong step towards finding talent both now and in the future.
Business Networking Events
Hosted on campus and in cities throughout the U.S., these gatherings give members exclusive opportunities to connect with other industry leaders as well as the college’s faculty and alumni.
