OSC is a member of the Western Regional Graduate Program through the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education.
U.S. citizens from participating states — Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming — may qualify for in-state tuition when admitted to a College of Optical Sciences graduate degree program. Nondegree students and distance learning students are ineligible.
Students must apply for the waiver before their first semester. Eligibility is based on the state of residence at the time of application, and official documentation (e.g., driver's license or state-issued ID) must be provided upon admission to the degree program. Students who have recently moved to Arizona must establish residency through the Office of the Registrar to qualify.
