2018 Scholarship Award Ceremony

Scholarship recipients and donors came together with OSC staff and faculty to celebrate the 2018 scholarship awards event, which took place on Sept. 28, 2018 in the OSC Meinel Building. SPIE Chief Executive Officer (retired), Eugene Arthurs, Ph.D., came to speak and congratulate the students receiving awards. Additionally, two new awards were introduced, the Graduate Student Extreme Optics Research Award, by Dr. Jack Jewell and the Undergraduate Research Innovation Award in Optics, by Dr. Michael Hart.
