Matt Eichenfield Featured in "All Things Photonics" Podcast

Matt Eichenfield, Wyant College SPIE Endowed Chair and Associate Professor as well as Distinguished Faculty Joint Appointee at Sandia National Labs, was recently featured in the All Things Photonics podcast on Tuesday, May 16th. In the feature, titled, "Quantum Integrated Photonics: Drivers and Outcomes," Matt discusses quantum integrated photonics with a focus on applications.

In particular, he covers the importance of how harnessing CMOS (Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor) manufacturing to make quantum photonic integrated circuits is crucial for quantum computing and networking at scale. Additionally, Matt discusses the importance of educating a quantum workforce in the US and how the Wyant College is working to make a difference in these efforts.
