In celebration of National Hispanic / Latinx Heritage Month, Sept. 15 - Oct. 15, we recognize Wyant College alumna, Dr. David Vega (MS, 2018 & PhD, 2021). Today, Dr. Vega is an optical scientist working with Ansys Zemax.

Congratulations to Wyant College of Optical Sciences alumnus, Mark Shand, on being selected as the recipient for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 1906 Award. Mark said of the award, "this was in no small way facilitated by the knowledge I gained at OSC and in particular the Master's report work I was able to do under the supervision of Jim Schwiegerling."
