Title
A Pragmatic Perspective on Establishing Long-Distance Quantum Communication Channels
Abstract
Establishing long-distance quantum communication channels is currently a major focus of a world-wide research. In this colloquium, a pragmatic perspective on establishing these channels in real-world operational environments and associated challenges towards achieving this goal will be presented.
