The responsibilities of the facilities section include assistance with planning and coordinating office moves, laboratory moves, sending files to storage, delivery of equipment and supplies, and other special requirements not covered by the University of Arizona Department of Facilities Management. The facilities staff are overseen by the director of finance and operations.

Faculty, staff and students with potential exposure to lasers and hazardous materials should contact facilities or the UA Research Laboratory & Safety Services to discuss training requirements.

The University of Arizona Department of Facilities Management provides custodial services to OSC. Custodians' responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, meeting rooms and offices
  • Cleaning public areas and restrooms
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Floor refinishing
  • Pest control (on request)
  • Recycled paper removal
  • Spill cleanup
  • Trash removal (interior)
  • Water removal

Emergency services are available through Facilities Management by calling 520-621-3000. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
