  • Development of holographic recording materials for a variety of applications ranging from solar energy conversion to medical imaging.
  • Volume holographic imaging systems for medical imaging applications.
  • Development of clinical instruments for the detection of early stage cancer.
  • Design and fabrication of optical systems to increase the performance of photovoltaic solar energy systems including concentrators, spectrum splitting, and light trapping techniques.
  • Freeform diffractive optic design and fabrication for solar energy conversion systems.
