Dr. Viktor Dubrovin is an Assistant Research Scientist and the Head of the Optical Glass Fabrication Laboratory at the Wyant College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. He has been working in the field of optical glass and fiber since 2009, bringing over 15 years of research experience in technology development and engineering solutions for advanced optical materials.
Dr. Dubrovin has led and contributed to multiple projects focused on specialty optical glasses, including photo-thermo-refractive glasses, magneto-optical glasses, luminescent glasses, and glass scintillators. These materials hold significant potential for applications in lasers, holography, radiation detection, magneto-optics, medical imaging, radiation-hardened optics, communications, and illumination.
He has published more than 20 journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, with over 450 citations in this area.
