Wyant College Student Showcases Startup Company at SPIE Photonics West
Join us on January 31 at the upcoming SPIE Photonics West conference to cheer on Ph.D. student, Simon Tsaoussis, as he showcases his startup company KostaCLOUD in the 2023 SPIE Startup Challenge. Simon is one of ten early-stage startup company finalists selected to compete for a prize of $10,000. SPIE describes the SPIE Startup Challenge as, "an entrepreneurial pitch competition for new businesses that utilize optics and photonics to create innovative products, applications, and technologies. This year's finalists include healthcare and deep tech innovations in medical diagnostics, medical imaging, food safety, and display technology."
Simon's startup, KostaCLOUD Inc., is described as a cloud-based optical design and simulation tool enabling real-time, optical-mechanical design collaboration, dramatically improving design-optimization times.
