Ten years ago this mission began with the goal to advocate for gender equity in the field, and at its core this goal has remained unchanged. However, the new name now reflects how OFA recognizes the importance that every person feels represented and supported. The name "Optics for All" better captures this broader vision of inclusivity and ensures that everyone has equal opportunities to thrive and contribute in the field of optics at the college.

Everyone is invited to join in future OFA meetings, posted to the college calendar. Read OFA's official statement regarding the name change and OFA's mission.
