Optical Sciences at Tucson Festival of Books

Optical Sciences is back at Tucson Festival of Books and had a great weekend educating and entertaining many a passerby. The optical sciences table was covered with multiple volunteers from the Center for Quantum Networks, SOCk, Women in Optics, and the college. PhD student, Alex Carter, entertained many during a special program offered in the Science Café. At the feature, Alex presented the IR Camera demo and had a number of audience-volunteers help demonstrate the wonders of infrared. A huge thank you to all the faculty, staff, and students who made the event a huge success.
