Hong Hua Inducted into 2023 IEEE VGTC Virtual Reality Academy

Congratulations to Prof. Hong Hua who was recently inducted into the 2023 IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Community  (VGTC) Virtual Reality Academy. Hua was selected for pioneering research on optical display technologies for AR and VR, and collaborative AR and VR environments. Hua is one of seven professionals selected for this honor and announced at the IEEE VR 2023 Conference in Shanghai. Her lab's research is currently working to develop the next generation of wearable display systems for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality—some of which will assist the visually impaired to see.
