LOOK INSIDE A GIANT LASER - SPECIAL INVITE FROM LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL LAB

Lawrence Livermore National Lab, OSC Industrial Affiliate Leadership Partner, is inviting you to take a look inside a giant laser. While the pandemic curtailed in-person tours of their “National Ignition Facility,” Wyant College’s students, faculty and interested guests are invited to join LLNL for a special virtual tour on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 5 p.m. (MDT / PDT).

This guided virtual tour will take you through laser bays, a Control Room, a Target Chamber and more. While a virtual tour can’t replace the feeling of walking around the facility, a silver-lining is the ability to offer new experiences, like flying above a laser bay, seeing the inside of the Target Chamber, and venturing deep into one of the four capacitor bays that power NIF shots. Sign-up here for this very special info-session and guided tour.
