INCOMING PH.D. STUDENT AWARDED NDSEG FELLOWSHIP

A big congratulations and welcome to incoming Ph.D. student Natalie Shultz on receiving the DoD NDSEG Fellowship. The fellowship supports a broad range of disciplines and includes full tuition and mandatory fees for three years, along with a monthly stipend and a $5,000 travel budget. Natalie will be graduating with a B.S. from the University of Arizona in optical engineering and minor in math, materials science and engineering this May. Natalie shared, "I’m so excited to start the Ph.D. program in the fall to keep learning more about optics, meet new people, and begin research related to my interest in optical materials." Congratulations, Natalie!
