ASML Optical Sciences / Optical Engineering Scholarship

ASML, an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, is generously funding two undergraduate student scholarships in optical sciences and optical engineering at Wyant College. For the Fall semester 2021, the ASML scholarship at $6,250 each, will be awarded to two fortunate recipients. Please see the criteria and application process for this scholarship below. ASML has also already committed to offering their scholarship again for the Fall 2022 semester. We are grateful to ASML for its leadership in supporting the College, our faculty and students in many capacities, including their Principal Partnership with the Industrial Affiliates program.

Selection Process:                    
Selection of the recipients made by the Wyant College of Optical Sciences faculty scholarship committee with final approval by the College’s Dean.

Value:                           
Two scholarships of up to $6,250 to be awarded annually beginning with the Academic Year 2021-2022. The award recipients are not eligible for renewal consideration. Recipients will also be eligible to receive mentoring, should the recipient choose, by an appointed ASML employee.

Eligibility: 

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a full-time undergraduate Junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Optical Sciences and Engineering.
  • Applicants are to be enrolled in either their junior or senior year at the time they receive the scholarship. 
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Preference shall be given to applicants with a 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA and an expressed interest in optical technologies of lithography.
