Position Highlights | The College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona is seeking a candidate for a PI-eligible senior experimentalist research scientist, who will lead and oversee a substantial experimental project on quantum repeater development within the NSF-funded Center for Quantum Networks. The ideal candidate would have a strong graduate research experience in quantum non-linear optics with a focus on squeezed light generation and manipulation. A strong background in quantum information, especially continuous variable quantum optics, and prior experimental background in spin-qubits (such as color centers in diamond) are strongly desirable. The successful candidate should hold, by the time of employment, a Ph.D. degree in Optics, Physics/Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
